Connaught After School Club
Connaught is our newest After School Club, and will be opening on 26th September 2011.
The After School club takes place in the school hall at Connaught School.
The spacious school hall has direct access to the playground, and is a lovley location for the After School Club.
There is a a street entrance directly into the hall. There is a door to the right (as you look at the school) of the main school entrance. A bell on the door will ring through to the club.
Our After School Club is open every day that Connaught is open. Children are collected directly from their class and taken to the club by our team.

The club currently has spaces available every day.
To register for the After School Club, please complete the Connaught Registration Form and return to the After School Club or the address on the form with a £35 registration fee.

The Team
Emma
Emma has had lots of varied experience of leading children's activities and of caring for children and have a daughter herself. She is NNEB qualified and has worked in schools, day nurseries, breakfast and after school clubs and holiday clubs. She loves working with children and enjoys providing fun and creative activities for them through arts, crafts, games and cooking.
She enjoys living in Brighton having moved here in 2010 from Somerset where she was involved in children's work and also youth work. Emma will be starting further training in the next year in youth and children's counselling.
In her own time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends: cooking and baking, watching movies and going to the cinema, going for walks and being by the sea, travelling and holidays, eating all types of chocolate. She loves art and photography. She doesn't enjoy gardening, eating fresh tomatoes and bananas or early mornings!
Barney
is playworker at the club. Since moving to Brighton in 2008 Barney has been working in Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant from Reception to Year 2 and working in a 1:1 capacity as SEN children. Prior to this, Barney ran his own fashion and textiles business and worked for a number of years as a Youth Worker, doing a lot of project work around his skills and interests in hip hop/street culture. He delivered regular workshops in Break and Street Dance and Graffiti art and organised events and exhibitions around this, including taking groups to the Edinburgh Festival for 2 years. Barney has a degree in fine art sculpture and much of his spare time is spent involved in various arts and crafts. Barney has a 5 year old son who he enjoys playing creating with especially drawing, painting, modelling and construction.
Annefa is also a playworker in the club.
