Fairlight After School Club
The After School Club will take place in the school hall on the first floor of Fairlight Primary.
The school hall is very spacious and is an excellent location for our club. The canteen has lots of space for indoor play, and we also have use of the large playground outside.
The After School Club will be open every day that Fairlight Primary School is open for children from Fairlight Primary and St Martin's Primary. The children from St Martin's will be collected from the school reception and walked to Fairlight Primary School.

Availability
The After School Club at Fairlight currently has availability every day.
To book an After School Club place, you need to complete a Fairlight Registration Form and return to the After School Club or the address shown on the form with a £30 deposit.

The Team
Chris Low
is the club supervisor. Chris has been working in playwork for over 8 years. He enjoys arts, crafts, painting and drawing and most sports and loves the flights of imagination that a play session can take me on. Chris is qualified to Level 3 in Playwork and is due to start the Playwork Foundation Degree in April. He is a true Brightonian and has had many creative jobs including photographer, freelance illustrator, comic book artist, youth worker, homeless and drug support worker. He is passionate about play and is looking forward to working with the children at Benfield and making a happy, nurturing and dynamic club together. He has 2 grown up children and 2 step children.
Linda Pinto
is playworker at the club. She hails from Brazil and has many years experience of working with children. She is currently studying to become a nutritionist and has a teenage son.
Meet The Team
Each half term we will profile a different individual. This month, meet the club supervisor,Chris Low.
My name is Chris Low, I have been a play-worker for just over eight years, I started as a volunteer with an interest in out of school activities and have progressed to supervisor gathering experience and qualifications along the way. I have worked closely with school sencos and learning mentors and have experience in supporting children with extra behavioural and emotional needs in the play setting. I am qualified to NVQ Level three in play-work and have an ever expanding pile of certificates in various child oriented disciplines.

I was born and raised in Brighton and have lived here all my life. I have had many jobs including photographer, freelance illustrator, comic book artist, youth worker, and homeless/drug support worker, but have found my vocation with play work.
have two grown children in their twenties, one of whom made me a grandfather. I also have two step children the youngest of which has just been accepted into the college she wanted.
I have a keen interest in movies, animation, comic-books, music, cycling, play and most anything that challenges my opinions and engages my creativity.
I admire originality and individuality. I dislike cars and enjoy trains. Politics and mathematics make my head spin. I refuse to admit to being a grown-up.
I am passionate about play and the opportunity to play, and am looking forward to meeting all of you and becoming your new club supervisor. Hopefully, with your support and with the enthusiasm of the children we can make a happy, nurturing and dynamic club together!
