Shoreham Holmbush After School Club
The After School Club takes place in the newly renovated Community Room at Holmbush School. We are open every day that Holmbush School is open, from the end of the school day until 6.00pm.
The Community Room is our own dedicated space and we have direct access to the school playground.
Entrance to the club is directly into the Community Room through a door located to the right hand side of the school.
Security at the club is of utmost importance to us. Our staff lock all the exit gates in the playground at the beginning of the session before the children go outside to play. This ensures that we know that all the children are safe and no one can gain access without us letting them in.
After School Club: End of school day until 6.00pm
We are open every school holiday to children from around the local area from 8.30am until 5.30pm.

Infant children are collected from their class by one of our team, and junior children make their own way directly to the club.Children are also collected from Glebe Primary and walked directly to Holmbush School.

To book a place at the After School Club, you need to complete a Holmbush Registration Form and return to the After School Club or address on the form with a £30 deposit
The Team
Lily Chippendale
is the club supervisor.She is an anthropology graduate and has many years experience of working with children.She has worked at Class Of Their Own for over 2 years and has been a bank supervisor for several months and is delighted to be running her own club at Holmbush.
Tess Bertram
started with us as a volunteer. She recently became a full time playworker and also works in the office with us. She is working towards and NVQ2 in playwork.

Meet The Team
Each Half Term we will profile a different member of the team, this month, meet Vicky Turner:
Vicky is a playworker at Holmbush Primary. She has been working with us since we started the club at Holmbush, and has also worked as Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor.
Her favourite group activity with the children is making play dough. Her favourite outdoor game is 'Run If You Like...'.
She is a popular playworker and the favourite part of her job is being able to have fun and let the children express themselves in their own individual way.
She holds an NVQ in childcare.
During the day, Vicky is a teaching assistant at Rudyard Kipling School.
In her free time, she enjoys diving, and holds a PADI open water diving qualification.
