Stanford After School Club
The After School and Holiday club takes place in the school hall at Stanford Junior School.
The school hall is really spacious and is connected to the school kitchen. We also have use of the outdoor playgrounds and the adventure playground.
Our entrance is through the main Junior School entrance, through the double set of blue doors. We have a video entry system in place to ensure we know who is coming into the school.
Our After School Club is open every day that Stanford Junior School is open for children from Stanford Junior and Stanford Infant Schools. Junior children make their own way to the school hall and infant children are collected from their class and walked to the club by our team.
After School Club: End of school day until 6.00pm
We are open every school holiday to children from around the local area from 8.30am until 5.30pm.

Availability
We currently have spaces available on all days.
To book an After School Club place, you need to complete a Stanford Registration Form and return to the After School Club or the address shown on the form with a £35 registration fee.

We operate a daily pick up from Stanford Infant School.

Useful Information for Parents
The Team
Clair
is the supervisor at Stanford After School Club. Clair has had lots of experience of playwork and running other childcare settings. Clair has her NVQ 3 in Playwork and has recently completed her Foundation Degree in Playwork and is also First Aid qualified. Clair works in the club on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Julia (Ju)
works in the club every day, and she supervisors on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She is the assistant supervisor on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ju is a psychology graduate. Ju works at the club every day. She has a NVQ 2 in childcare and currently works at Cardinal Newmam School during the day and has also been a playworker for a number of years during the holidays. Ju has been working at the club since it started in 2002.
Rocio (Roky)
is a playworker at the club. She is originally from Spain and has extensive experience of working with large groups of children in Spanish summer camps. She enjoys outdoor sports and games.
Chelsea
recently started working for Class of Their Own and was quickly snapped up to work five days at Stanford because of her enthusiasm and experience of working with children. She has several qualifications in Health and Social Care and has worked in nurseries and schools. Chelsea also has experience of working with children with additional needs. Chelsea is also a party leader.
Outside of work, Chelsea really enjoys performing arts. She loves singing, dancing and drama.
Sadie
has worked with children in after school clubs for about six years. She is currently studying to be a primary school teacher and would eventually like to be a teacher for children with special educational needs. Sadie’s experience with children has covered everything from lunchtime supervision to nannying. She has had training in first aid, child protection and has an NVQ 2 in Playwork. Sadie is specialising in art for her degree and loves being arty!
Patricia
is originally from Portugal. She is experienced in working with children who have additional needs and works in an inclusive setting each weekend. She is working towards her level 2 NVQ in playwork.
Patricia loves working with children and is also a babysitter. She is an Ashtanga Yoga practitioner and would one day like to teach yoga for children. She has a degree in International Relations and likes to keep herself up to date with current affairs.
