Brighton Stanford After School Club
The After School and Holiday club takes place in the school hall at Stanford Junior School.
The school hall is really spacious and is connected to the school kitchen. We also have use of the outdoor playgrounds and the adventure playground.
Our entrance is through the main Junior School entrance, through the double set of blue doors. We have a video entry system in place to ensure we know who is coming into the school.
Our After School Club is open every day that Stanford Junior School is open for children from Stanford Junior and Stanford Infant Schools. Junior children make their own way to the school hall and infant children are collected from their class and walked to the club by our team.
After School Club: End of school day until 6.00pm
We are open every school holiday to children from around the local area from 8.30am until 5.30pm.

Availability
We currently have spaces available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We are predicting a wait of 1 month for a space on a Wednesday. If you would like a space on a Wednesay we encourage you to add your name to the waiting list as soon as possible.
To book an After School Club place, you need to complete a Stanford Registration Form and return to the After School Club or the address shown on the form with a £30 deposit.

The Team
Clair Faulkner
is the supervisor at Stanford After School Club. Clair has had lots of experience of playwork and running other childcare settings. Clair has her NVQ 3 in Playwork and has recently completed her Foundation Degree in Playwork and is also First Aid qualified.
Julia (Ju) Morgan
is the assistant supervisor for the Juniors, she is a psychology degree graduate. Ju works at the club every day. She has a NVQ 2 in childcare and currently works at Cardinal Newmam School during the day and has also been a playworker for a number of years during the holidays. Ju has been working at the club since it started in 2002.
Clair Martin
is a playworker at the club. She is studying for an education degree at the University of Brighton. She has volunteered in nursery's for 3 summer holidays and has also volunteered in a Junior School.
Ottilia Taras
is a playworker at the club. She was born in Romania and has lived in Canada for several years. She works in a nursery in the day, and with us 4 days a week.
