Brighton St. Pauls After School Club
The After School and Holiday clubs take place in the school hall.
The school hall has lots of space for indoor play, we also have use of the grassy area outside the hall, and the school playground. Our entrance is through the main entrance of the school, there is a doorbell for the club. Please ring the bell on arrival and one of the team will let you in.
Our After School Club is open every day that St Paul's School is open.
The After School Club is also open to children from Middle Street School. All children from Middle Street are collected from their school and walked with our staff to St Paul's. The junior children from St Paul's make their own way to the canteen and infant children are collected from their class.
After School Club: End of school day until 5.45pm
From Summer 09 we will be open every school holiday to children from around the local area from 8.30am until 5.30pm.

Meet The Team
Each half term we will profile a different team member. This month, meet Joanne Morrell:
Joanne has worked in nearly every position during her time with us at St Paul's. She started as a playworker at the breakfast club. We quickly recognised her talents, and she started to share breakfast club supervisor role with Emelye. She agreed to help us out once at the After School Club when we were short staffed, and she is now a regular face at the After School Club too and has also worked at the Holiday Club at St Paul's.
When Joanne isn't working at Class Of Their Own, she keeps really busy with voluntary work. She is a voluntary swimming teacher, does the youth club accounts, is treasurer of the PTA and volunteers in the school on a Wednesday morning. Joanne is also a Sunday School Teacher.
Her favourite indoor activity with the children is helping them with their Hama bead creations and outdoors she likes helping the children to skip with a long rope.
She is a popular member of the staff team, and not only because her favourite part of the job is making the kitchen sparkle!
Joanne holds Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Swimming Teacher and NVQ 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications.
Joanne has four children of her own, aged 13,11, 9 and 6. She says she drinks far too much tea. For her 20th wedding anniversary this year, she found the time to walk the South Downs Way!
Joanne is a very committed team member and we appreciate her help at St Paul's.

We were delighted to receive an 'outstanding' grading at our club at St Paul's when Ofsted last inspected us in October 2009.
