Meet The Team
Emelye Perry set up ‘Class Of Their Own At Home’ babysitting and childminding service in December 2009 and has continued to manage and co-ordinate the service. Emelye has years of babysitting experience herself, both professionally and for friends and family. Nowadays she prefers to leave the babysitting to the fantastic pool of babysitters who have registered with the service!
Emelye will be a helpful and friendly voice on the other end of the phone, but she is also the Supervisor at Downs Junior School After School and Holiday Club so please feel free to pop in and see her face to face. Emelye is currently working towards her NVQ Level 3 and hopes to finish in May. In June 2009 she graduated from the University of Brighton with a First Class Honours in Visual and Performance art.
Harriet Allwood works alongside Emelye Perry as babysitting coordinator. She has been working with Class Of Their Own for several years and is now the Assistant Supervisor at St Bartholomew's Afterschool Club. She also works at Downs Junior Breakfast Club and regularly at the holiday clubs. As well as coordinating the babysitting, Harriet is also a babysitter herself so knows the babysitting procedure very well. Harriet is fully qualified with first aid and child protection and is currently working on her NVQ level 3 in playwork. Harriet also has an art degree so enjoys doing all things creative with the children and getting messy!
