Brighton Downs Breakfast Club
The After School, Breakfast and Holiday clubs take place in the school canteen at Downs Junior School.
The school canteen is newly built and is an excellent location for our club. The canteen has lots of space for indoor play, and we also have use of the large playground outside. We are also able to use the adventure playground.
Our After School & Breakfast Clubs are open every day that Downs Junior School is open for children from Downs Junior and Downs Infant Schools. Junior children make their own way to the canteen and infant children are collected directly from their class and walked to the club by our team.
Breakfast Club: 8.00am until start of school.
After School Club: End of school day until 6.00pm
We are open every school holiday to children from around the local area from 8.30am until 5.30pm.

Our entrance is in Grantham Road, and is clearly marked with signs. There is a bell to the right of the gate, please ring this and we will let you in.
The Team
George Cheimonas
is the Breakfast Club supervisor. He is currently studying Music Technology at University too. He has lots of experience of working with children in variety of settings here and in Greece.
Rebecca Nicholls
is a Playworker at the breakfast club. She is originally from Spain, where she obtained a degree in Social Studies. She holds a level 2 playwork qualification, and is currently studying for a level 3 in playwork.
Susie Miller
is a breakfast club playworker. She is also student at Falmer University. She is studying for an education degree.
Maria Climent
is a playworker at the club. She was working as a teacher in her native Spain before moving to Brighton where she works in a specialist autism unit during the day.
